Came to a realization recently and I am thankful to all those people who have helped me at some point in my life.

I don’t usually do new year resolution because I felt that there’s always time to do stuff, so why rush everything in a year? But as I grow older (damn. i’m starting to feel old already), I realised that there’s just too many things I want to do and in order to accomplish them, I had to plan.

So…for 2010, here are my resolutions:

1. Master a new language (most probably Jap) by end of the year. Means I must start lessons in Jan or Feb.

2. Get a good camera and bring it everywhere I go. Take more photos.

3. Limit travelling to one long trip and one or two short ones. Taiwan and bangkok this year perhaps?

4. Do more artsy stuff like visit more galleries, buy more design books, do an installation, do more personal works.

5. Get over the fear of lasik and go for an evaluation check. My eyesight needs to be corrected.

6. Learn how to love and get rid of commitment issues.

7. Be happier. End 2009 has been quite a depressing one for me and I should do something about it if this continues.

8. Everything happens for a reason. Life is full of never ending lessons, so always be thankful that I am already very blessed.

Is it because humans are greedy in nature? There’s always so much we want to do in a given time.

…or because of the rapid technological advancement where everything happens instanteously?

I should do a project titled “Time”…

it’s funny how someone’s happiness can influence the surrounding people. it’s so contagious i can’t stop smiling.

Sometimes, I wish I could stay as a kid; and never grow up. Back then, the world is my imagination, I could be whatever I wanted to be. All is forgotten the moment something new catches my attention…

…to my uncle. An amazing man, husband, father, brother and friend. I’ve never seen a couple so much in love after 20 over years of marriage. A couple who still does things together all the time, a couple who, when apart, starts smsing and calling each other. A couple who depended on each other.

Now one has gone to heaven, the other in agony because there’s no goodbye. No goodbye despite the risk of the surgery, because that’s how postive my uncle is. After going thru many procedures and surgeries, he never fails to smile when we visit him. And is always making the people around him laugh.

I miss him. My aunty must be missing him a zillion times more.
